Terms and Conditions

a] General

By submitting an image(s) and/or video to this website, you consent to The Glasgow School of Art [GSA] having the right to reuse your image(s) and/or video for the purposes of marketing & promotion. You also consent to having your name, graduating year, programme of study and the title of the work displayed alongside the image(s) and/or video as a credit. The image(s) and/or video may be used for purposes including, but not limited to: print, websites, social media profiles, projections, presentations and promotional videos.

The individual reserves the right to retract this consent at any time after the image(s) and/or video have been submitted, after which the GSA will review the request and may remove the image from the website and archives. This does not apply to circumstances where the image cannot be removed e.g. a printed publication that is already in circulation at the time of the request. GSA retains the right to retain a non-public digital archive of the image(s) and or video(s) submitted with this form.

b] Contact Details

Contact detail information (email, postal address and telephone number) entered by the individual on the website will only be used for the purposes of Graduate Showcase communication. The information will never be passed to any third parties. The information will be retained by the GSA for one year, at which point it will be destroyed unless permission for further use have been sought. This data collection is considered separate from the GSA’s retainment of contact details for alumni.

If the individual wishes for their email address and/or public website/social media profile to be made public on the GSA’s website and public Flickr account, they must denote this by checking the box on the form. If the individual does not wish for their email address and/or public website/social media profile to be made public on the GSA’s website and public Flickr account, the email address and/or public website/social media profile will not be shared with anyone outside of the institution. The email address and/or public website/social media profile will not be used in printed materials under any circumstances.

The individual reserves the right to retract this consent at any time, after which the GSA will review the request and remove the contact details from the website and Flickr account.
