The Covid-19 has been a challenge that nobody wanted. Still, it also raised awareness of rethinking the relationship between individuals and organisations. In terms of using workshops or other engagement methods to better involve more people in discussions and collaborations, one of the key factors is their motivations and their imagination capacity.
This project Daydream aims to invite more people to discuss their preferred future in a more collective and caring way. Given that change is a key theme in such uncertain times. This framework works as a way to help participants to enhance their understandings of their current challenges and opportunities. Using a more current-orientated strategy, participants can take actions and reflect their collective visions simultaneously. Using storytelling and metaphors, this journey will create a share-momentum benefiting people from different background.
Daydream has received some positive feedback from stakeholders such as local communities and engagement professionals to local authorities. This project will still ongoing, and looking forward to opportunities to apply this engagement model with greater impact.
