Forgiveness Space is a natural space to promote the family relationship between children and fathers. Through interaction, immersive experience, and joint participation, promoting excellent communication between fathers and children and understanding each other better is achieved. The patriarchal system is a widespread problem in society since ancient times. Although it is a matriarchal society in some areas and periods(For example, Minangkabau, an indigenous people located in the West Sumatra Plateau in Indonesia, is the world’s largest matriarchal society), in most families, the father still occupies the central leadership position. Long-term inequality between men and women has led to a series of problems, such as the mother’s weak presence in the family under the oppression of patriarchy, which leads to the lack of protection in the child’s growth. This lack of the mother’s care and protection will lead to some personality defects, such as depression, sensitivity, irritability, paranoia, etc. Although the status of father and mother in the family tends to be the same day by day, because patriarchy has dominated people’s thinking for too long, the shadow of patriarchy still exists in life. The existence of patriarchy not only affects children but also puts pressure on fathers. The standard definition of the father; they need to be the person who makes the most money in the family; they should always be rational and not emotional, and so on. In order to satisfy the stereotype of fathers in these societies, fathers themselves are under pressure, which also causes a series of problems. For example, it is difficult for fathers to have enough time to care for their families and accompany their children’s growth. This phenomenon is also why it is difficult for fathers and children to communicate and create barriers, and the problems that need to be solved.
