Parasitic Pods for urban nomads under high-density digital society.
with the development of high density and digital society, the proportion of urban nomads will gradually increase. As a designer, I reckon that we need pay more attention to this group of people, what I want to do is creating a new parasitic pod concept as a utopia vision for urban nomads to fit their unique lifestyle, and concern their internal emotions. Through these pods, they might boost physical contact with others as well as get to know the sensations of themselves. The most interesting process in this project for me is that I regard parasitic pods as communication medium with movable and foldable structure, engaging with origami design.
