New Sharing model for society:
Empower disabled people and more to ask for and offer help
Introduction
The project is a trial about service design and inclusive design.
It explores disabled identity, disability narrative and finds a definition of what is real inclusion.
It explores what is the real world of disability and why people have barriers and fears on both sides?
It is also a trial about how to have a sharing model for society to empower people to ask for and offer help.
During the coronavirus, we are facing difficulties and challenges in the same storm, but sometimes we find we are not in the same boat. It’d be essential to acknowledge that the crisis magnifies this and not caused directly by it, before Covid-19 this was also an issue.
We have various disabilities, barriers and fears. It means that we have shared challenges. How can we create new connection model?
Framework of toolkit
Part 1: When you can embrace different yourself, you can find others’ diversity.
Part 2: Help is taking it off someone, support is letting them do it their own way. Start a conversation in many ways. Don’t be afraid of trials and errors.
Part 3: We can be empowered to do what we want to do. We have information, we have a good environment. We celebrate diversity and disability.
