Cecilia Zanardini

I come from Italy and I have a background in product design, after Milano Politecnico I have decided to come to GSA because I wanted to have an experience abroad. I have chosen the Mdes in design Innovation and Service design because I prefer to analyse the problems with a systemic approach, reflect on people’s needs, and I believe in the value of research to create a valid project outcome, every step of my projects follows an innovative method and empathy.

My final project aims to reduce the amount of cast-off clothing by reducing buying and to do that I have decided to focus on the potentiality of the emotional connection we can have with our garments, stimulating the users to build memories and live their clothes. My action wants to be a systemic action that is why in my analysis of contemporaneity I have came upon the companies point of view and I have developed also a new business model, more sustainable and transparent.
